THE FLOW COACH

Relax and see a difference

"Being relaxed, at peace with yourself, confident, emotionally neutral, loose and free-floating - These are the keys to successful performance in almost everything."

Dr. Wayne Dyer

Rochad's journey has been one of competition, creativity, excitement, and self-discovery. As a young man, he was passionate about sports, and he excelled at football and track and field. It was the latter where he discovered The Flow State for the first time. He learned in high school how to relax and perform well from his track and field coach Bob Loney. He affectionately introduced him to the book, "Relax and Win," written by well-renowned track and field coach Bud Winter. Holiday's talents would ultimately earn him a scholarship to San Diego State University as a long jumper and triple jumper.

After graduating with a degree in journalism, Rochad pursued a career in music. He's had an incredible journey having worked for a record company (MCA Records), produced and written songs for Grammy award-winning artists Will Smith, Neyo, and Drake. He was also a member of the R&B group Somethin' For The People. He currently has a music library that he licenses to television and film projects, and he's composed the music for The NAACP Image Awards since 2013. He's had a compelling 30 plus year career in the music business.

In 2010 Rochad was asked to speak to a group of high school kids about the music business. It was then that he discovered his love for speaking. With his entertainment background, speaking came quite natural and the information that he shared had every kid in the room aspiring to pursue a career in music. Then he spoke to a group of men and women who were just released from jail and he connected with them in a way that was inspiring and it wasn't even about music. It was about life choices, setting goals, and achieving those goals with daily habits. It was these speaking opportunities that led to him becoming a motivational speaker and inspiring people with knowledge and information on how to become the best possible version of themselves.

It was later in life that Rochad realized that the same mindset that he had when he ran track was a carbon-copy to when he created music. It was a revelation to him because even though he mentally prepared himself to run, the relaxation of the mind and body was similar. The only difference was the task but the consciousness was equivalent. He then started doing some research on the subject and soon discovered The Flow State. It's been his mission to teach the masses how to achieve flow. That place of effortlessness, peak performances, heightened creativity, and success on all levels.

Flow can be taught and once learned it can become a default mode for any activity. Although there may be times where anxiety can be elevated, understanding how to cope with stressful situations can be a useful tool in everyday life. Like anything flow can be mastered with practice, discipline and consistency. Your life's journey will not only be a smooth ride of accomplishing goals but more importantly, exceeding them.
